Crystal Springs Uplands School seeks a full-time Middle School History Teacher starting August 1, 2019. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience as a middle school teacher (or other relevant experience) and a B.A. (Masters Degree preferred). The Middle School History Teacher will arrive at a particularly exciting moment for CSUS: the school is in the midst of expanding its US enrollment to 350 students. A successful candidate in this position will:

● Demonstrate commitment to equitable and culturally responsive teaching

● Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and challenging learning environment

● Possess excellent oral and written communications skills

● Possess an excellent work ethic, positive outlook and sense of humor

● Handle sensitive issues and crises with skill, diplomacy and/or discretion

● Exhibit strong teaching and mentoring skills and passion for working with high school students
