CalWest partner school in the greater San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer (CEIO) to lead the charge in the school’s commitment to equity and justice in teaching and learning. The School embraces a dynamic and engaging developmental model of education and distinguishes itself with a commitment to core values of scholarship, kindness and inclusion as well as a robust curriculum and array of programs. The school's next CEIO will advocate and build capacity for a diverse and inclusive environment and will provide strategic leadership in implementing programs and initiatives that advance the school’s commitment to equity and inclusion.


Professional Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • At least 3 years experience in the field demonstrating commitment to DEI work in schools

Professional Skills

  • Strategic thinker and thought leader
  • Strong communicator and advocate
  • Experienced in program implementation, strategic planning, and managing across multiple important priorities
  • Spanish and/or Mandarin speaking/writing skills are preferred but not required
