Student Acquisition and Enrollment Specialist

This opening calls for specific administration qualifications set by the school.

CalWest's client school in Los Angeles seeks a Student Acquisition and Enrollment Specialist to begin July 1, 2024.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a related field is required, school experience a plus but is not required
  • Spanish Speaker

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a plan to recruit students for all 4 schools. The plan should include marketing, outreach, enrollment, and registration strategies. The specialist should monitor the plan closely using data, and adjust the plan as needed through the support and feedback of the network and school teams.
  • Design and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract prospective students and families to the schools. This includes, but is not limited to, outreach to community organizations, hosting information sessions, touring schools, attending local events, and leveraging digital marketing platforms.   • Search for, establish and maintain mutual partnerships with various organizations, schools, and families to establish a recruiting pipeline. The specialist should ensure at all times that the partnerships are mutually beneficial.
  • Guide prospective families through the enrollment process, providing information about our schools' curriculum, extracurricular activities, and admission requirements. Ensure all enrollment paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Work closely with school administrators and staff to meet enrollment goals and develop strategies to meet those objectives.
  • Keep detailed records of prospective student inquiries, applications, and enrollment data. Use data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in the recruitment and enrollment process.
  • Organize, coordinate and participate in outreach events such as open houses, school tours, and information sessions in partnerships with school teams. Represent the school at community fairs, parent meetings, and other relevant events to promote enrollment.
  • Serve as the network primary point of contact for prospective families, responding promptly to inquiries and providing personalized assistance throughout the enrollment process. Build positive relationships with families to foster a sense of community and belonging.
  • Stay updated on trends and best practices in enrollment management and education policy. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to student recruitment and enrollment. All information learned should be shared with the executive team and include plans moving forward.
